Cleodamus was an engineer employed by imperial orders to fortify maritime cities against Gothic threats. He began the crucial work of repairing the ancient walls of Athens, though his efforts were interrupted by the Gothic sack of the city, from which he fled alongside the historian Dexippus.

Description

A middle-aged man with weathered skin suggesting extensive outdoor work, possessing the practical build of an engineer. His clothing is functional rather than decorative, suitable for construction and fortification work. He carries himself with the focused competence of one accustomed to the technical demands of military architecture.
