Fravitta began as a valiant and honorable Gothic youth who chose friendship with Rome over the conflicts of his people. His loyalty to the empire led him to kill his rival Priulf in defense of Roman interests, and his military abilities eventually earned him the consulship, marked by the golden collar of that office. He rose to command Roman forces by both sea and land against the threat of Gainas.

Description

A tall, athletic young Gothic warrior whose fair hair falls long in the fashion of his people. His clean-shaven face bears the marks of both barbarian nobility and Roman military discipline. He wears Roman military armor adapted for Gothic use, and the golden collar of a consul gleams at his throat—the mark of his achievement in bridging the worlds of Goth and Roman through service to the empire.
