Joscelin I of Edessa served as a Crusader count whose defense of Edessa became legendary. He died like a soldier in a horse litter at the head of his troops, refusing to neglect his duties even in his final moments. His death in Aleppo prison marked the end of a life dedicated to the defense of Crusader territories.
Description
Joscelin I of Edessa carries the weathered appearance of a Crusader count, with the military bearing of someone accustomed to leading troops in defense of contested territories. Even when carried in a horse litter, his presence commands the respect due to a battle-hardened leader.
