Magnentius began as an ambitious soldier of barbarian extraction who seized power from Constans in a bloody coup. Proclaimed emperor at Autun, he ruled as a usurper until defeated by Constantius at the Battle of Mursa. After throwing away his imperial ornaments in flight, he ultimately took his own life rather than face capture.
Description
A massively built Roman soldier with a vast, powerful frame, dark hair, and features showing barbarian extraction. He wears military attire with elements of imperial purple, his enormous physical presence dominating any space he occupies.
