There's a quiet grace in the way he receives visitors, his countenance open and welcoming, as though the weight of his office has not dimmed his natural warmth.

Nicholas V, born Tommaso Parentucelli, rose from humble origins through his virtue and learning to become Pope. He restored and adorned Rome, received the Holy Roman Emperor Frederic III with a smiling countenance, and formed the Vatican library while promoting Greek learning. His pontificate, however, was overshadowed by the fall of the Eastern Empire.
Description
A middle-aged to elderly man of plebeian origin, with a face marked by both learning and dignity. He wears the papal vestments of his office, his expression often described as smiling and welcoming. His presence is scholarly and refined, shaped by years of study and virtue rather than noble birth.
