There's a vulnerability to this young man that contrasts sharply with his imperial position. His eyes, sensitive to light, give him an almost otherworldly quality, as if he exists between two worlds.

Numerian, the younger son of Emperor Carus, accompanied his father on the Persian campaign and briefly held imperial power. His physical frailty, particularly his weak eyes that confined him to darkness, proved a significant challenge to his ability to command troops and maintain authority during a critical period of Roman military history.

Description

A young man in his early twenties with fair skin and dark hair, his most striking feature being notably weak, sensitive eyes that require protection from light. He has a slender, somewhat frail build and wears imperial Roman garments. His demeanor reflects both his youth and the physical limitations that define his daily existence.
