Orestes began as a noble subject of the Pannonian province and served as a Hunnic ambassador before rising to become praefect of Egypt. His life took a dramatic turn when Nitrian monks attacked him, covering his face with blood from thrown stones. He would become the father of Romulus Augustulus, the last Roman emperor of the West.

Description

A middle-aged man with weathered features and dark hair, wearing Roman administrative clothing appropriate to his status as praefect. His face shows the marks of recent wounds with dried blood from an attack, and his build suggests someone accustomed to both court life and long journeys. His presence carries the weight of someone who has witnessed both imperial splendor and frontier violence.
