There is a quiet weight to his presence, as though the crown he wears rests heavier than it appears. His gaze is steady, shaped by years of balancing the demands of distant powers.

Sauromaces ruled Iberia under the watchful eye of Rome, his throne granted by imperial favor rather than conquest. When Persian forces swept through his kingdom, he was driven from his lands, a king without a country. Yet his story did not end in exile; through Roman intervention, he was restored, only to find his children held as hostages by the very empire that had once supported him.
Description
Sauromaces is depicted as a mature man of medium build, with olive skin and dark hair touched with gray. He wears the regalia of an Iberian king—chiefly a purple tunic with gold trim and a white cloak—along with a modest diadem. His features are composed and serious, marked by a neatly kept beard and a reserved, dignified demeanor.
