There's a raw, unpolished strength to this man that speaks of battles fought on muddy fields rather than marble halls. His eyes carry the weight of command, and when he moves among his warriors, there's an ease that suggests he earned his place through valor rather than birthright alone.

Vitiges rose from the ranks of Gothic warriors, his valor proven in the Illyrian campaigns, until his companions raised him on their bucklers as their king. He led the Gothic siege of Rome with fierce determination, dividing his forces into six camps and attacking with seven columns, though the year-long effort cost him thirty thousand men. After retreating to Ravenna, he ultimately accepted Justinian's crown and was transported to Constantinople, where he lived out his days confined to the imperial palace while the flower of Gothic youth entered the emperor's service.
Description
A formidable warrior with a broad, muscular build shaped by years of battle. His skin bears the weathering of outdoor campaigns, and his dark hair falls long beneath an iron crown. A thick beard frames a face marked by both authority and the scars of combat. He wears practical leather armor reinforced with mail, a heavy cloak secured by a bronze brooch at the shoulder, and carries himself with the natural authority of a leader who rose through merit rather than noble birth.
