There's something heartbreaking about the way youth and royal dignity war within his bearing. His presence carries both the weight of ancient empire and the vulnerability of one thrust too early into mortal danger.

Yezdegerd III was the last king of Sassanian Persia, a youth of fifteen upon whom the ancient tiara was placed in desperate circumstances. Forced to flee to Holwan, he was ultimately betrayed by his own servant and slain by Turkish cavalry, marking the end of the Persian royal line that had endured for centuries.
Description
Yezdegerd appears as a youth of fifteen years, his young features bearing both the marks of royal Persian lineage and the strain of his impossible position. The royal tiara sits upon his head, while his slender build and Persian royal dress reflect both his noble birth and the desperate circumstances that marked his brief reign.
