Ziebel served as a Turkish khan who formed a crucial alliance with the Byzantine Emperor Heraclius during his campaigns against Persia. He demonstrated his respect for imperial authority by dismounting from his horse and prostrating himself before the emperor, receiving an imperial diadem along with jewels and earrings as symbols of their partnership. His cooperation proved instrumental in the Byzantine military efforts of the early seventh century.

Description

Ziebel has the weathered features of a steppe nomad leader, with the practical strength of one accustomed to long rides across vast distances. He wears traditional Turkish khan attire adorned with the jewels and earrings that mark his status, carrying himself with the natural authority of a man who commands both respect and obedience from his mounted warriors.
