K’rul is an Elder God whose influence lingers in the world long after he has been considered dead for thousands of years. He appears to Kruppe in a dream, speaking of Dragnipur and warning of the dangers posed by Tellann and Omtose Phellack magic. His presence is bound to an undying hearth-fire and to an abandoned temple, remnants of a power that has not entirely vanished. Known as the Maker of Paths, he remains a quiet, watchful force at the edge of mortal affairs.

Description

K’rul is a tall, black-shrouded figure, his hooded head concealing any glimpse of a face in sheer darkness. Long, sinuous fingers extend from the folds of his sleeves, fine and strangely graceful against the heavy drape of his garments. His silhouette is austere and imposing, seeming to absorb the light around it. A deep, soft voice and an unnervingly tranquil presence complete the impression of an ancient being.
