Murillio begins as an elegant, pleasure-loving dandy, traveling in fine clothes with wine close at hand and a rapier and main-gauche at his side. He shares the streets and their dangers with Rallick and Crokus, and his encounters with Lorn leave him bruised and unconscious before he resumes the journey in Kruppe’s company. Across his appearances, the polished finery remains part of his identity, even when travel and mishap leave it creased, stained, or rumpled.
Description
Murillio has a long, elegant frame and the composed bearing of a dandy. His wardrobe favors striking, fine garments: a shimmering blue cloak, a soft billowing shirt in bright green, and carefully cut leather pantaloons, though the fabrics may be creased or beer-stained. For travel he wears a burnous, and he carries a rapier with a jeweled, emerald-studded hilt as well as a main-gauche. A bruise on his forehead is one occasional mark against his otherwise cultivated appearance.
