Throughout the series, it serves as a training tool for Vin's Allomantic-enhanced sparring sessions, particularly when augmented by pewter. The staff represents Vin's commitment to mastering physical combat alongside her growing Allomantic abilities, evolving from a basic training implement into a symbol of her development as both warrior and Mistborn.
