Sabletooth

Sabletooth appears in Powder Mage Trilogy.

Sabletooth, a remote mountain fortress and prison in the Kez-controlled highlands, begins the Powder Mage Trilogy as little more than a name in Promise of Blood, a foreboding symbol of the Kez's iron grip on political prisoners and dangerous Privileged. By the later books it evolves into a critical flashpoint in the continental war, its impregnable walls and strategic location making it both a coveted stronghold and a site of brutal sieges. As Tamas and his allies push back against the Kez invasion, Sabletooth becomes the stage for daring rescues, desperate last stands, and the unleashing of forbidden sorcery that alters the balance of power. Ultimately, the fortress's fall or survival comes to represent the crumbling of old empires and the bloody birth of a new era in the Nine Nations.
