Ash Lord

Supporting

An elderly Gold with a grotesque, imposing face and dark gold eyes peering out from beneath twin thickets of thick eyebrows. Heavy jowls hang over the high black collar of his military uniform while his wide mouth forms a straight line, his expression often stricken with rage. This old killer projects as a gigantic holographic head twice the width of others, with pale skin, short cropped gray hair, and the broad-shouldered build of a lifelong battlefield commander whose very presence radiates menace and authority.

The Ash Lord debuts in Morning Star as a towering, rage-filled Gold warlord whose holographic menace dominates the battlefield, embodying the Society's unyielding martial might. By Iron Gold, time and affliction have reduced this once-gigantic commander to a withered, pus-oozing husk tethered to life-support machines, his decayed form a poignant symbol of the old order's inexorable decline. In his final, agonizing moments, his body convulses and blackens like a thrashing mantis set ablaze, marking the end of an era amid the rising chaos of a fractured empire.

Physical Description

An elderly Gold with a grotesque, imposing face and dark gold eyes peering out from beneath twin thickets of thick eyebrows. Heavy jowls hang over the high black collar of his military uniform while his wide mouth forms a straight line, his expression often stricken with rage. This old killer projects as a gigantic holographic head twice the width of others, with pale skin, short cropped gray hair, and the broad-shouldered build of a lifelong battlefield commander whose very presence radiates menace and authority. Lying in a nest of blankets on a grand bed by the bright sea is the Ash Lord, remnants of a giant standing over seven feet with a frame that once weighed as much as a Telemanus. Now barely a third of that man, he is emaciated and skeletal with arms shrunken inward, all muscle withered away, and cadaverous legs. His once onyx-dark skin hangs loose and scabrous, covered in yellow flakes and oozing pus into white bandages while tight dry scale-like skin stretches over his titanic bald skull. Once-bright eyes are sunken deep and stained with rotten yellow infection, watching without malice, as shrunken lips curl and part to bare rotting gums or clear his throat grotesquely. Wires and fluid lines connect him to machines cycling his blood and removing waste, the whole form like a thrashing mantis when set ablaze, his dry husk contracting, boiling, swelling, and blackening amid acrid smoke in his final moments.
