Atlas au Raa
MinorA young woman under twenty years old with pale skin, bold high cheekbones, and a cruelly slashing pale Peerless Scar along her right cheekbone stands as a Gold fighter with long eyelashes and a lean build defined by stringy fighter muscles. Her body is marked by a lifetime of combat with six parallel scars raking her lower back, two old knife wounds near her heart, a terrible burn on her left arm, and an old wound claiming the top corner of her left ear. Lustrous golden hair frames her face with its golden eyes while she wears a green jacket and pants, her form showing the hardened resilience of a Sunborn warrior even when slick with oil.
Atlas au Raa debuts in Iron Gold as a battle-scarred Sunborn warrior whose physical resilience hints at a lifetime of brutal service to the Golds. Across Dark Age he fully emerges as the Fear Knight, a gaunt, intellectually menacing tactician who deploys psychological terror and genetic legacies—most notably his engineered son Ajax—while relentlessly hunting Darrow’s forces on Atalantia’s orders. By Light Bringer his form has withered further into a mutilated philosopher of dread, extending his influence as mentor to Volsung Fá and continuing to orchestrate the Society’s most savage operations even as his body and allegiances fray.

A vaguely alien tall lean Gold man of forty-nine with a thin face stretched tight from desert exposure like dehydrated beef. Long black hair shot with gold is tied back in a ponytail. Wide clearer gold eyes with slanted lids sit like perfect crystals under sunburnt lids radiating pensive soulful intelligence without fear and full knowledge of pain. A prominent scar circles his neck ear to ear from a past throat cutting. He wears moth-colored light armor hiding knives or bone-white ceremonial armor etched with screaming children carrying himself with tensile terror and a left knee limp while occasionally picking at his cuticles. A slender man with skin the color of a gray winter sky and a gaunt philosopher’s face. His eyes are dark jewels that convey intensity and weariness. Thin and mutilated in later appearances, he projects an aura of calculated dread and intellectual menace.
