Orion xe Aquarii begins as a capable Blue pilot aboard the Pax in Golden Son, rising to captain and proving herself a steadfast ally to Darrow during the early stages of the Rising. By Morning Star she commands fleet elements with quiet ferocity, her loyalty and tactical skill helping to turn the tide of space battles. In Iron Gold she is elevated to Imperator of the First Fleet, operating independently on Mercury against the Ash Lord’s forces. Her arc reaches a harrowing conclusion in Dark Age, where torture leaves her physically ravaged yet mentally unbroken; her final, desperate naval maneuvers save Darrow’s army at the cost of her life, cementing her legacy as one of the Rising’s most indispensable naval commanders.

Description

Orion is a plump dark-skinned Blue woman around 40, her squat body dominated by massive shoulders, bald pate adorned with swirling digital azure tattoos on crown, temples, hands, and neck—equations like Larmor’s formula and Maxwell’s. Pale arctic eyes pierce sharply. Often in captain's uniform with winged star badge, she paces with smirking authority. Skin nearly as dark as her form-fitting black uniform, Orion boasts a muscular, broad-shouldered build with meaty, powerful hands. Her large pale eyes dominate a strong face, often curved into a nasty white smile revealing sharp edges. She stands tall and commanding, exuding intensity on the bridge, every movement precise and forceful. Orion is identified as a woman and an imperator, but the text gives no details of her face, complexion, hair, eyes, build, age, clothing, or distinguishing features. Her military command is clear, but her visual appearance remains unspecified. A once-stout but now severely stick-thin woman with ashen skin beaded in sweat from intense neural strain, her face visibly mottled with fresh resFlesh grafts that have replaced large eaten-away sections from brutal torture. She possesses striking bright blue eyes that convey both trauma and unyielding spirit, whether focused in command or twitching in seizure. New metal prosthetic fingers extend from her knuckles, and she wears a prisoner jumpsuit with bare feet often visible, marked by a trident ring signifying her rank as fleet navarch.
