Ragnar Volarus the Stained emerges in Golden Son as a towering Obsidian warrior whose imposing physicality and ionBlade prowess immediately mark him as a formidable presence in the Rising's ranks. Throughout the series, he evolves from a seemingly simple, tech-averse soldier into a complex symbol of Obsidian liberation, his loyalty to Darrow transforming him from a weapon of war into a bridge between the oppressed Obsidian tribes and the broader revolutionary cause. His journey challenges the rigid color hierarchy while his death becomes a catalyst that reshapes the political landscape of the solar system.
