The Testing Room begins in Red Rising as a sterile, clinical chamber within The Institute, serving as the first physical gate for Gold candidates. Across the series, it evolves from a simple examination space into a symbol of the brutal, hierarchical selection process that shapes the future leaders of the Society. Its clinical white walls and nanoCam surveillance underscore the cold, calculated nature of the trials that Darrow and his peers must endure.
