Valkyrie Spires begins as a haunting absence in the Red Rising Saga, first referenced in Morning Star as a symbol of the Society’s brutal suppression of rebellion. By Dark Age, the ruined city of hollow towers on Mars stands as a visceral testament to the cost of war, its skeletal remains bearing witness to orbital devastation. Across the series, the Spires evolve from a whispered legend of lost resistance into a stark monument of planetary conflict, embodying both the resilience and the ruin of Mars itself.
