Kuon Hounds debut in Iron Gold as the first engineered war-beasts of the post-Sovereignty era, their chitin-armored frames and serrated talons marking a grim evolution in military biotechnology. Bred for shock and terror, these insectoid-canid hybrids are deployed by the Rising’s enemies to hunt and demoralize, their deafening barks echoing across battlefields. Their appearance signals a darker turn in the saga’s arms race, where living weapons now rival the machines of the past.
