Roque's Funeral Torpedo Casket first appears in Morning Star as a simple metal torpedo-shaped casket designed for solar burial in space. The casket serves as the final resting place for the fallen Gold poet and admiral Roque au Fabii, symbolizing both his aristocratic heritage and the cold finality of his betrayal of Darrow. Across the series, it represents the intersection of personal loyalty and political necessity, becoming a poignant reminder of the cost of revolution.
