Stone Map

The Stone Map begins as a static, wall-mounted relief of the Institute’s valley battlefield in Red Rising, its holographic banners and fog-of-war mechanics serving as a strategic centerpiece for House Mars. Across the series it evolves from a localized tactical tool into a symbol of broader rebellion, its shifting topography and hidden layers reflecting the expanding scope of Darrow’s war against the Society. By later books the map’s once-fixed boundaries are repeatedly redrawn—both literally and metaphorically—as new territories, alliances, and betrayals come into play.
