Delp appears only in a brief, painful moment during a bridge run, when an arrow strikes his neck. The text offers little else about him, leaving him as one of the many bridgemen whose peril gives the work its human cost.
Description
The text provides no specific details about Delp’s face, coloring, hair, eyes, age, or build. He is identified as a male bridgeman, so his most grounded visual context is simple, practical bridge crew clothing, worn by hard labor. No distinctive accessories or other physical traits are established.
