Hashal’s pale blue eyes and jewel-bright hair ornaments make her presence quietly arresting, while her elegant dress speaks of rank and careful taste. A tiny sore on her lip lends an unexpected human imperfection to an otherwise composed, observant figure.

Brightness Hashal is introduced as a lighteyed woman who serves as both wife and scribe to a camp officer, combining elegant presentation with practical authority. Her dark hair, amethysts, and richly colored gowns make her memorable, while her role in assigning bridge crews shows her influence at the warcamp. The text offers her in glimpses rather than a complete personal arc, leaving her as a capable, socially adept presence within camp life.
Description
Hashal is a lighteyed woman with pale blue eyes and dark hair arranged in an intricate weave, often sparkling with infused amethysts. She favors refined gowns: a deep crimson Alethi dress fitted through the bodice with sleek skirts and side buttons, or a violet dress decorated with golden glyphs. A small gold-embroidered collar and thin rod complete her polished appearance, while a small sore on one lip provides a distinctive imperfection. She carries herself with composed ease and an attentive, intelligent air.
