Havrom
Also known as Fifth Battalionlord, Brightlord Havrom
- Supporting
- First seen · Book 1 · Ch. 32
Havrom has the monumental presence of a man who seems to take up more than his share of the world. His unusual beard—long at the sides, bare at the chin—makes him as distinctive as his towering build, and hints at ties beyond the familiar Alethi ranks.

Havrom, the Fifth Battalionlord, is introduced as a man built like a tower, his imposing stature matched by a beard worn in Horneater fashion. He keeps the sides long and his chin clean-shaven, and his relatives among the Peakfolk suggest a connection to the Horneater Peaks. Though his appearance is memorable, the text gives little further account of his personal story.
