Renarin carries himself with careful composure, yet his wide eyes and the stillness behind his spectacles make him seem more vulnerable than his formal uniform suggests. There is a gentleness in the way he attends to others, paired with a quiet uncertainty that invites curiosity.

The nineteen-year-old Renarin stands in the shadow of his family’s martial expectations, wearing a side sword he barely knows how to use. He is perceptive and gentle, often showing concern for Adolin and trying to temper his brother’s anger. His spectacles and moments of distant, fixed attention hint at an inner life others struggle to read, while his place in House Kholin keeps him closely tied to its legacy and responsibilities.
Description
Renarin is a pale-faced nineteen-year-old with wide eyes, usually hidden behind spectacles; his hair color, eye color, height, and build are not specified. He holds himself with a straight back and exacting posture, though his expressions can turn hesitant or tremulous. His stiff blue Kholin uniform has a long coat buttoned to the neck and golden knots on the shoulders, and he wears a side sword. The spectacles and formal, slightly guarded bearing distinguish him without making him seem wholly at ease in martial dress.
