As Saldaea’s marshal-general, Bashere brings a soldier’s discipline and a seasoned commander’s judgment to the company of powerful allies. His authority is carried as much in his unwavering bearing as in the carved-bone baton that marks his office. He serves as a trusted military presence in the struggle against the Shadow, a man whose practical resolve steadies those around him.
Description
Bashere is distinguished by the immaculate precision of his dress: a short coat of lustrous grey silk, highly polished boots turned down at the tops, and a sheathed sword. In his hand is a carved-bone marshal’s baton crowned with a gold wolf’s head. His composed posture and controlled movements convey the authority of a career soldier.
