Berana’s stillness has the chill of polished marble: she meets the world through large, dark eyes and a face held in an unyielding mask. Even her calm seems exacting, as though every feeling must first answer to reason.

A Sitter of the White Ajah, Berana argues for the authority of cold logic in the rebel Aes Sedai’s deliberations. Yet the intensity with which she champions restraint reveals that even the most rational stance can carry its own heat. She stands among the voices shaping the sisters’ choices, a figure whose rigid composure is never quite as impersonal as it appears.
Description
Berana’s face is cool and masklike, with a haughty set to her features and large, dark brown eyes that seem to hold little warmth. She wears white skirts embroidered in silver and the shawl of the White Ajah, its white fringe hanging freely. Her posture is upright and controlled, and her presence is austere, as if she has made stillness into a form of command.
