Dyelin’s steady, weathered composure suggests a woman who has crossed many rooms—and roads—without surrendering an inch of her judgment. The glint of gold in her hair and at her shoulder softens nothing in her clear, resolute gaze.

Dyelin Taravin is a seasoned noble of Andor whose loyalty and judgment make her one of Elayne’s most valuable supporters. She moves among the Houses as a trusted diplomatic voice, bringing a firm reputation and a practical understanding of the realm’s politics. In Caemlyn she remains a counselor and source of strength, choosing service to the throne over the pursuit of power for herself.
Description
Dyelin is a mature woman with a strong, determined face and fine lines gathered at the corners of her eyes. Her golden hair is beginning to gray, a subtle silvering that lends her an air of experience. She wears a dark gray travel dress, its hem marked with road dust, and a small gold pin depicting an owl and an oak rests on her shoulder. Her bearing is calm and assured, her expression attentive and quietly forceful; she carries a silver cup with the ease of a woman accustomed to both court and travel.
