Jarid Sarand is an Andoran lord and the husband of Elenia Sarand, remembered as a proud man of honor whose temper could flare fiercely. In Nynaeve's account, he rides with a darkness in his expression that matches his volatile reputation. His part in the tale is small, but he embodies the volatile pride and personal loyalties of Andoran nobility.
Description
Jarid is identified as an Andoran lord, but his exact build, coloring, hair, eyes, and age are not specified. He is associated with the heraldry of a golden boar, a clear mark of his noble house. His reported manner is grim and stormy, with the fierce, proud bearing of a hot-tempered man of honor.
