Egeanin Tamarath begins as a high-born Seanchan woman whose authority and certainty are tested by a world beyond the one she knows. Description

Egeanin is tall and slender, with a strong, assured carriage, very pale skin, and striking blue eyes set in a stern face. Her head is shaved beneath a long, wavy black wig that falls to her waist, usually secured under a colorful kerchief tied beneath her chin; her fingernails are clipped short. She wears a vivid green dress that sits awkwardly on her, with small yellow and white flowers at the collar and sleeves. Even in such conspicuous clothing, she moves with a commanding confidence, while tension often gathers in her expression.
