Elsie is a young maidservant in House Matherin’s gray-blue livery, introduced in a state of unmistakable fear. A few years older than Elayne, she is a vivid but brief presence among the household staff. Her frightened manner makes her seem less like a fixture of the palace and more like someone caught in circumstances that have unsettled her.
Description
Elsie is tall and full-figured, with black hair and large, dark eyes that appear slightly prominent. She wears the gray-blue livery of House Matherin, the practical uniform of a maidservant. Her wide-eyed expression and tense, trembling bearing make her fear immediately visible. No other distinguishing marks or accessories are specified.
