Flann looks as if the world has given him too much to watch and too little reason to relax: all long limbs, a gloomy face, and eyes that keep searching the edges of a room. His discomfort is almost palpable, and he wears it with the blunt honesty of someone who cannot pretend to feel at home.

A lanky young man from Watch Hill, Flann carries the Red Eagle banner of Manetheren with more unease than grandeur. In So Habor, the dirty surroundings unsettle him so badly that he complains the place makes him want to wash. He remains an awkward, anxious presence, memorable for the contrast between the banner he bears and his plainly human discomfort.
Description
Flann is tall and very thin, his lanky frame giving him an awkward, stretched-out look. His face tends toward a perpetual gloom, while his eyes can grow wide and frightened as he looks around. He wears the practical, travel-worn clothing of a young man on the road and carries the Red Eagle banner of Manetheren; no specific hair or eye color is given. His posture and expression make him seem perpetually ill at ease.
