Lini Whyte is remembered as Elayne's elderly nurse and mentor, a figure whose folk sayings distill practical wisdom into memorable counsel. Though she is mentioned rather than shown directly in these passages, her advice about looking ahead and preparing for tomorrow keeps her voice present in the lives of others.
Description
Lini is a spare-built elderly woman with gray hair and a stern, wrinkled face. Age has etched her features, while her expression suggests a firm, watchful character. The text does not specify her clothing or other distinguishing physical details, leaving her plain, weathered appearance as the clearest impression.
