Marillin is known through the uneasy impression of an Aes Sedai whose loyalties are not what her station might suggest. Her ageless face offers little to read, lending her absence from view a quietly guarded, unsettling quality.

Marillin Gemalphin is a sister of the Black Ajah, mentioned among the women connected to Shaidar’s circle. She is identified as having been away from the house when Falion and Hanlon discuss her. Though the book gives little individual detail about her actions, her place among the Black sisters makes her a figure of secrecy and danger.
Description
Marillin has the ageless face characteristic of an Aes Sedai, a composed visage that gives no ordinary measure of her years. No details are supplied about her hair, eyes, skin tone, build, or clothing. Her visual identity should remain spare and controlled, with the unreadable quality of an Aes Sedai more important than any invented feature.
