Marlyn’s dusk-blue eyes are striking beneath the black hair that slips loose from her dark shawl, and her gold and carved-bone ornaments catch the light when she moves. She has the stillness of someone who listens closely to the world around her, her quiet presence both grounded and formidable.

Marlyn is an Aiel Wise One whose rare black hair and striking dusk-blue eyes make her immediately distinctive. She travels with Anoura and proves a keen observer, judging the strength of the Shaido Wise Ones while sensing the vast flow of saidar. Her watchfulness and command of the One Power place her among the formidable women attending the struggle around Faile’s party.
Description
Marlyn is tall and dark-skinned, with dusk-blue eyes and black hair—a rare color among the Aiel—that escapes from beneath her black shawl. She wears a dark skirt and a white blouse, practical clothes accented by many gold and carved-bone bracelets and necklaces. Her ornaments provide a bright, tactile contrast to the dark fabric and the muted winter landscape around her. She moves with a quiet, sure-footed confidence, her gaze steady and attentive.
