Even in plain white, she carries herself with an unmistakable, almost instinctive dignity. Golden hair and clear blue eyes draw the gaze, but it is the fierce light in them—and the composure she struggles to keep—that makes her compelling.

Known as Maighdin, she is in truth Morgase Trakand, a woman of royal bearing whose striking beauty and command of herself persist through hardship. In the Aiel camp she wears white gai’shain robes with a gold belt and collar, and returns unsteadily after a failed attempt to enter Therava’s tent, bound and desperately thirsty. Her moment of vulnerability contrasts with the queenly presence she cannot quite set aside.
Description
Maighdin is a mature woman of striking beauty, with golden hair and bright, clear blue eyes. Her bearing is naturally regal, visible in the proud set of her posture even when she looks worn and unsteady. She wears a white gai’shain robe fastened with a golden belt and collar. The combination of luminous coloring and an instinctive dignity makes her presence difficult to mistake.
