Lady Nian’s icy blue gaze and rigid posture make courtesy feel like a test one might fail. She is pale, polished, and unmistakably highborn, with a temper held behind firm lips and the impression that she expects the world to make room for her.

Nian Arawn, High Seat of House Arawn, emerges as a claimant to Andor’s Lion Throne during the struggle around Caemlyn. Proud and notoriously quick-tempered, she brings her house’s forces into the contest and camps outside the city. Her ambition and noble rank place her among those whose claims turn the succession crisis into a wider political conflict.
Description
Nian is a very pale woman with cold, ice-blue eyes and firm lips that give her face a severe, controlled look. She holds herself unnaturally straight, her bearing stiff with noble pride. A blue silk cloak with a deep hood lined in black fur frames her face, and her clothing has the polished quality of a high-born Andoran lady. The emblem of House Arawn—the three keys—marks her affiliation, while her cool, commanding presence makes her difficult to overlook.
