She is so small that her presence seems at first to belong to the edges of a room, but the steadiness of her bearing suggests otherwise. A flash of yellow velvet beneath her cloak lends her quiet composure a bright, unmistakable accent.

Nisao is a Yellow sister whose compact stature contrasts with the authority of her Aes Sedai bearing. Her brief appearance leaves a vivid impression through the careful arrangement of her travel cloak and its yellow velvet lining. The excerpt offers only a glimpse of her, but it is enough to suggest a woman accustomed to carrying herself with deliberate assurance.
Description
Nisao is extremely short, with the smooth, ageless face of an Aes Sedai and a firm, self-possessed posture. Her travel cloak is carefully arranged, its hood resting neatly across her shoulders rather than obscuring her. Yellow velvet lines the hood, a bright detail against the cloak's otherwise unspecified fabric. Her small stature and composed bearing make her immediately recognizable.
