He has the solid, unhurried presence of a man who knows the weight of iron and the patience it takes to shape it. His golden eyes are startlingly wolf-bright beneath a thoughtful brow, lending even his silences a keen, watchful edge.

Perrin Aybara begins as a village blacksmith, a thoughtful man wary of the strength and responsibility others see in him. His bond with the wolves opens a second way of sensing the world, while his loyalty to Faile and the people of the Two Rivers draws him into leadership he never sought. He becomes a lord and commander without losing the patience of the smith, though the burdens of war test the quiet gentleness at his core. Across the struggle, he learns that strength is not simply something to restrain, but something that can be used to protect what he loves.

Description

Perrin is a large, broad-shouldered man with the powerful, grounded build of a smith, and golden-yellow eyes that catch attention at once. His face is broad and thoughtful, his expression often grave and inward-looking. He favors sturdy, practical clothes suited to travel, with a winter cloak in cold weather and an axe carried at his belt. Even when still, he has a watchful, almost wolf-like presence.
