Her bold, masculine style and sword mark her as someone eager to step beyond the conventions of her station. She gathers the imitators around her, lending their earnest fascination with Aiel ways a clear, determined figurehead.
Description
Selande is short and slender, with the youthful appearance of a young Cairhienin noblewoman. Her hair is cropped short at the front and gathered into a small tail at the nape with a dark ribbon. She wears a masculine jacket and trousers, the jacket distinguished by six narrow colored stripes across the chest. A sword hangs at her waist, and her gloved hand often rests close to its hilt, giving her a ready, self-possessed air.
