There is an earnest urgency to her, the kind that sends a woman gathering her skirts rather than lose a moment to the mud. Her green eyes and narrow blue stole give her an unmistakable dignity, though emotion sits close beneath the surface.

As Keeper of the Chronicles, Sheriam is expected to carry reports and petitions to Egwene, a role that keeps her at the busy center of the rebel Aes Sedai. During the vote on the Black Tower agreement, the weight of the decision overwhelms her composure: she trembles and weeps openly. Her response makes plain how deeply the Tower's divisions and choices press upon those tasked with serving it.
Description
Sheriam is a green-eyed woman whose appearance is marked by the narrow blue stole of the Keeper of the Chronicles. She wears it over formal Aes Sedai clothing, though her skirts may be gathered in her hands when she has to hurry across muddy ground. Her bearing is usually purposeful, but her face can reveal strong emotion, trembling and tearful when composure gives way.
