Small in stature but never in presence, Takima has the watchful, birdlike quality of someone who misses little and wastes no words. When she speaks, her certainty fills the room—along with the unmistakable sense that she enjoys being heard.

A Brown Ajah Sitter on the rebellious Hall, Takima is known for her command of Tower law and her fondness for the sound of her own voice. She argues fiercely with Escaralde and later makes an impassioned stand against the Black Tower, refusing to rise with the rest of the Hall. Her stubbornness gives her convictions a vivid, unsettling force, even among women accustomed to command.

Description

Takima is a short, slight woman with a distinctly birdlike look: compact, alert, and quick to fix her attention on whoever is speaking. Her features and coloring are not specified, and her hair and eyes are undescribed. She wears the sober attire and Brown Ajah shawl of an Aes Sedai Sitter. With her fists set on her hips and her posture stiff with conviction, she gives the impression of a sharp mind housed in a small frame.
