Tovyr is a Cairhienin craftsman who makes optical and precision instruments. He is remembered for producing the gilded viewing tube Rand gives to Bashere, a work whose fine utility outlasts the brief mention of its maker. No other details of his life or relationships are supplied.
Description
The text identifies Tovyr as a Cairhienin artisan specializing in optical and precision instruments but does not describe his appearance. His age, build, complexion, hair, eyes, facial features, and clothing are unspecified. A visual portrayal should focus on the tools and careful atmosphere of his craft rather than inventing physical traits.
