Egwene al'Vere is betrayed and captured while attempting to destroy the harbor chain in Tar Valon, ending her leadership of the rebel Aes Sedai from outside the city.
Outcome
Egwene is taken prisoner by the White Tower, creating a crisis for the rebel faction and potentially allowing her to work from within the Tower.
