Abdelaziz ibn Musa, son of the conqueror Musa, governed Spain with a firm hand, chastising insurgents and extending control along the Mediterranean coast. He married the Gothic widow Egilona, linking Arab and Visigothic lines. His life ended violently, slain by conspirators in Cordova, his head sent as a grim trophy to his father.
Description
Abdelaziz ibn Musa is an Arab man in his prime, with olive skin, a dark beard, and sharp, commanding eyes. He has a strong, athletic build and wears the practical yet elegant attire of a governor—flowing robes, a turban, and a sword at his side. His bearing is authoritative, marked by the confidence of command.
