There is a restless intensity to him, the kind of man shaped by open horizons and the shifting sands of allegiance. His eyes hold the calculating patience of one who strikes swiftly and vanishes just as fast, leaving only the echo of hooves behind.

Almondar, known also as Al-Mundhir III and Alamundarus, ruled as prince of the Saracens from his seat at Hira. As a vassal of the Persian empire, he remained outside the fragile peace between Rome and Persia, choosing instead the profitable path of raiding. His flying camp swept through the borderlands of Syria, carrying away captives and treasure, enriching his followers while keeping the desert frontier in constant unrest.

Description

Almondar is a lean, sun-browned man of commanding presence, with sharp features and dark, watchful eyes. His black hair falls beneath a white headcloth bound by a golden cord. He dresses in layered robes of crimson and gold over light desert armor, the curved hilt of a scimitar visible at his side. His bearing carries the restless authority of a desert prince who leads his men from the saddle.
