Marcus Aurelius Marius

Also known as Roman general, Sulla, Scylla

There's something almost contradictory about this man—the blunt honesty of a craftsman combined with the intrepid courage of a soldier. His powerful build and direct manner suggest both the strength of his former trade and the unexpected elevation of his current position.

Marcus Aurelius Marius rose from the humble trade of armorer to become a usurper in Gaul, placed on the throne through the political maneuvering of Victoria. His brief reign ended when he was killed by a former workman using a sword forged in his own shop, a fitting end for a man whose strength had been his defining characteristic.

Description

Marius presents as a powerfully built man with the strong arms and broad shoulders of a former armorer. His features are honest and direct, with calloused hands that speak of years working with metal. He wears the simple but well-made clothing of a Roman general, combining the strength of his trade with the dignity of his rank.
